Hussein Al Jerjawi is a 17-year-old artist and photographer from Gaza, Palestine, whose work captures the strength, defiance, and unwavering spirit of his homeland. Currently in residency with the h0pecollective, Hussein is featuring his brand 3AYN—which means eye in Arabizi slang—inviting those outside of Gaza to see the land through his perspective. Before the war, he was deeply involved in the art community, showcasing his work in galleries, leading workshops, and bringing joy to children through creative expression. Now,

despite unimaginable loss and displacement, he continues to create, using his art as both a form of resistance and a bridge for global solidarity. Every piece he makes carries the stories of his people, and through this collaboration, he hopes to share their truth, honor those he has lost, and find a way forward.
